Cashier/Sales Associate - Seasonal, Holiday

Part-time 12-25 hrs/wk

Valley River Center or Autzen Stadium Duck Stores

Primary Responsibilities

• Work daily on sales floor and cash register providing excellent customer service

• Quickly and accurately complete sales and return transactions on cash register

• Stock and display merchandise for sale

• Accurately maintain inventory records according to location procedure to include pricing product, check-in and transfers, and conducting periodic inventory counts

• Carry out Duck Store's customer service expectations through all work activities

• Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

Experience and Skills Required

• Demonstrated ability and strong desire to provide high standard of customer service with enthusiasm and energy

• Strong interest in Duck Store products and aptitude for learning

• Use of reasoning, independent judgment, and decision making skills to accurately apply variable inventory, sales, and marketing concepts in processing transactions in fast-paced environments

• High degree of attention to detail and ability to remain productive with customer interruptions

• Willingness and ability to create and maintain relationships with regular store customers

• Cashier positions require the ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, lift and pull merchandise up to 15lbs on a consistent basis. Sales positions require ability to lift up to 25 lbs on a consistent basis.

• Ability to apply basic math skills to include addition, subtraction and making change quickly.

• Excellent record of attendance, reliability and initiative in previous employment.

Hours

This is an hourly position. Work schedule will vary according to store needs and include regular evening and weekend shifts, Thanksgiving weekend and Christmas Eve. All positions require weekend availability and at least 15 hours weekly availability.

Wage

$15.50/hour
