As a Security Officer - Community Residential Patrol in Miami, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a residential location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for residents and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control procedures and monitor entry points to the location.
• Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal team members and site staff to address client needs and concerns.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of activities, incidents, and observations as required by site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Able to ride a bike.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
